  • 200 g minced meat
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 100 g grated cheese (cheddar, Emmental, or mozzarella)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 beaten egg (to seal the edges)
  • Oil for frying

Preparation Steps

  1. Prepare the Filling
    • Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes, then boil them in salted water until tender. Drain and mash them slightly with a fork.
    • Finely chop the onion and sauté it in a pan with olive oil until translucent.
    • Add the minced meat, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook while stirring until the meat is fully cooked.
    • Remove from heat, then add parsley and mashed potatoes. Mix well and let it cool.
    • Finally, add the grated cheese and mix one last time.
  2. Shape the Rolls
    • Place a spring roll sheet (brick pastry sheet) on a clean work surface.
    • Put a spoonful of filling at the bottom of the sheet, fold the sides inward, then roll it tightly to form a roll.
    • Brush the edge with a little beaten egg to seal it well. Repeat with the remaining sheets.
  3. Cooking
    • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
    • Fry the rolls until golden and crispy.
    • Drain them on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
