- 10 sheets of Bourayk Elgamra brick pastry
- 250 g peeled shrimp
- 150 g grated cheese (Gruyère, mozzarella, or feta according to your taste)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- A pinch of sweet chili powder (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 egg (for glazing)
- Oil for frying

Preparation Steps
- Prepare the filling:
- Heat olive oil in a pan.
- Add the onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Add the shrimp, paprika, sweet chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat, add the grated cheese and parsley. Mix well and let it cool.
- Prepare the bricks:
- Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of a sheet of brick pastry.
- Fold the sheet into a half-circle.
- Brush the last fold with a little beaten egg to seal it properly.
- Cooking:
- Heat a bit of oil in a pan.
- Fry the bricks for about 2 minutes on each side until they are golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels.
