- 7 sheets of Samsa Elgamra brick pastry
- 250 g of peeled shrimp
- 150 g of grated cheese (Gruyère, mozzarella, or feta to your taste)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- A pinch of sweet chili powder (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 egg (for brushing)
- Oil for frying

- Preparing the filling:
- Heat the olive oil in a pan.
- Add the onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Add the shrimp, paprika, sweet chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat, add the grated cheese and parsley. Mix well and let it cool.
- Preparing the bricks (Samosa):
- Cut the Samsa sheets (Samosa sheets) lengthwise according to the desired width of the strips.
- Place a spoonful of filling on the edge of the strip.
- Fold the corner of the strip to form a small triangle, then continue folding the rest of the strip into triangles until the end of the strip.
- Brush the final fold with a little beaten egg to seal it properly.
- Frying:
- Heat some oil in a pan.
- Fry the bricks (Samosa) for about 2 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels.
